    Thank you for joining Android Forum. You will find below some basic rules and guidelines that we expect everyone to follow in order to keep participation in our forums enjoyable for everyone.

    We don’t intend to censor messages based on the opinions expressed within posts, but we will enforce policies outlined both here and on the forum. We reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close posts at our discretion and without explanation.

    If you do not adhere to the guidelines outlined below, suspension of your account is a definite consequence.

    ANDROID FORUM RULES:
    • Everyone has a right to speak, regardless of their opinion.
    • Members will treat each other with courtesy and respect, especially when they disagree. We understand that bright, intelligent people may not always agree, but personal attacks in the form of insults, abusive language or other means of harassment will not be tolerated.
    • Any derogatory reference to race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, etc. will result in a ban.
    • Obscenity and pornography will not be tolerated. We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violent.
    • Discussion of illegal activities such as piracy is not allowed.
    • Discussions regarding politics and/or religion are strictly prohibited.
    • Advertising, spamming, and trolling are not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private messages to spam other members.
    • Each member is only permitted one user account.
    • Cross-Posting is not allowed. This refers to a member posting duplicate threads in multiple forums.
    • Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting.
    • Members accept all responsibility for what they post. This includes any personal information you choose to make public.
    • When posting a picture, please host it on AC’s server. You do so by going “advanced” and selecting “manage attachments”. This prevents the picture being deleted from another site’s server, thus rendering the post/picture irrelevant. For quality purposes, you may also host the external link, as long as you also host it on our server in case the external server deletes their copy.
    • When posting information from another website, please quote the most relevant information on our site, credit the original site with the information and post a link to that site.
    • Please keep signatures brief and within reason. If your signature is considered excessively large, a moderator will request you that you adjust it. If you do not, we reserve the right to change it for you and issue you an infraction and/or temporary ban.
    • Instructions by the staff/moderator team are expected to be followed. In the instance of disagreement any further discussion with said staff/moderator should be held via private message.
    While these rules cover most common situations, in certain instances situations will arise that were not anticipated. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate for said situation.
